About Bridges Community Support Services, Inc
Founded in 2014, Bridges Community Support Services, Inc is dedicated to helping individuals across Central Florida overcome mental health challenges and life barriers with a compassionate and community-based mental health center. Through mental and behavioral health services, housing assistance, advocacy, and wraparound care, our mission is to help every person build a safer, healthier, and more independent future.
In 2015, we expanded that mission by launching SHIP (Supporting Housing Individual Program), our nonprofit initiative that brings together community members, volunteers, and donors to help more individuals build healthier and more independent lives.

Meet Our Founder Omusi Ranger
For Omusi Ranger, helping others has always been more than a career. She founded Bridges Community Support Services, Inc to make compassionate mental healthcare services in Central Florida, accessible to people facing mental health challenges, homelessness, substance use disorders, and other life barriers.
With degrees in Sociology and Human Services & Family Counseling, Omusi leads BCSS with empathy and purpose, believing that true support goes beyond appointments by helping people find stability, reconnect with their communities, and build a healthier, more hopeful future.

What services does BCSS provide?
Bridges Community Support Services, Inc provides a variety of community-based behavioral health services, including Psychiatric Medication Management, Clinical Assessments, Individual and Family Counseling, Targeted Case Management (TCM), Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR), Peer Support, Housing Assistance, Transitional Psychiatric Discharge Support, and other services designed to help individuals achieve stability, independence, and improved mental wellness
Do I need a referral?
While referrals are accepted from medical professionals, hospital facilities, community organizations, or relatives, they are not mandatory. Individuals can reach out to BCSS independently to explore service options and initiate the intake journey.
What insurance plans do you accept?
